Our Story: Home Titan Handyman Services
Home Titan Handyman Services was launched in 2024 by married couple, Andrew & Alexis. The company is based out of Haddon Township, NJ but currently services Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties in South Jersey. Home Titan provides a wide range of home repair and home improvement services and is licensed as a Home Improvement Contractor in NJ. Starting a handyman company aligned with both Andrew’s skill set in home improvement, problem solving and technology and with Alexis’s background in engineering and consulting.
The idea to start a professional handyman company came about from our experiences with some average and sub-par contractors in the past. We had trouble just getting someone to call us back and provide an estimate, especially for smaller jobs that didn’t require a full renovation. When we finally found the right person for the job, often expectations would fall short. We also noticed that people we knew were having the same issues…our friends and family had an unending to-do list of small house projects they wanted to get done but didn’t have the time, skill or desire to do it themselves.
We started our local handyman company after our own personal experiences of having difficulty finding reliable contractors who call you back, provide a timely estimate, communicate expectations clearly and stand behind their high quality work with a workmanship guarantee. We also saw a real need in our area for a professional handyman service company that focused on smaller home repair and home improvement projects. From day one, we knew we wanted to provide a top-tier experience for our clients by delivering a smooth project scheduling process and high quality results for every project, no matter how big or small the scope of work.
We started Home Titan with a vision to create a professional handyman service company that is the one-stop shop for home improvement and home repair needs in South Jersey. We think of the handyman as your go-to trusted resource for maintaining and beautifying your home, and if they don’t perform the work themselves then the handyman should be able to provide advice and recommendations.
At Home Titan, we aim to provide a professional and friendly service through our modern website, online estimate request form, answering our phones (or promptly calling you back) and providing upfront / flat-rate proposals that provide detailed descriptions of the scope of work for the project. Whether a client has a small project like an interior door replacement, a multi-day punch list project, or a larger home improvement project such as painting a room and building an accent wall, our goal is to deliver the same high quality experience every time.
We are a licensed Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) in New Jersey (NJHIC#: 13VH13484000), which is a regulated trade in the state. We follow the state requirements by holding a general liability insurance policy and compliance bond. We also have decals on our commercial vehicle from the DEP that allows us to properly and legally dispose of trash and construction debris after removal from a client’s home. When a client selects a contractor that is licensed in their trade, they are choosing a professional who is authorized to perform the work, and along with that comes peace of mind that their home is protected by insurance and bonding.
We are just getting started and are currently looking to expand our team to meet the needs of the communities we serve! It is a privilege to serve Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties in South Jersey. We love helping others and feel lucky to have the opportunity to pursue a profession that does just that.
